Die Sohle ist auf der Innensohle von Hand genäht. Damit bietet sie gegenüber dem industriellen Produkt, das einfach eingeklebt wird, sowohl ein überlegenes Finish als auch eine viel längere Haltbarkeit. Die Sandalen werden von Hand mit einer pflanzliche Farbe gefärbt, danach erfolgt eine Feinbearbeitung mit kleinen Bürsten. Zum Schluss werden die Sandalen im Freien an der Luft getrocknet. Die handwerkliche Verarbeitung dieser Herren-Flip-Flops wird TUFFATO genannt, der Prozess ist langwierig und erfordert eine sehr hohe Präzision, etwas dass sich viele Firmen nicht mehr leisten wollen.
