Die Sohle ist auf der Innensohle von Hand genäht. Damit bietet sie gegenüber dem industriellen Produkt, das einfach eingeklebt wird, sowohl ein überlegenes Finish als auch eine viel längere Haltbarkeit. Die Sandalen werden von Hand mit einer pflanzliche Farbe gefärbt, danach erfolgt eine Feinbearbeitung mit kleinen Bürsten. Zum Schluss werden die Sandalen im Freien an der Luft getrocknet. Dieser Vorgang wird TUFFATO genannt, er ist langwierig und erfordert eine sehr hohe Präzision, etwas dass sich viele Firmen nicht mehr leisten.
Jeder Schuh wird innerhalb von 24 Stunden nach ihrer Bestellung speziell für Sie angefertigt und durch einen Kurierdienst in 24-72 Stunden weltweit ausgeliefert.

coming from a random American guy who took a chance on some cool gladiator style sandals, from a website for a company he never even heard of before- Just buy them. I’m serious. They fit perfectly despite the other reviews warning about them running smal, and the materials and construction were better than I even imagined. They need a little patience to fully wear in over time through use, but once the leather gets soft and it contours to my feet they’re gonna be fantastic. Looks sharp and feels soft. A+++

Both pair of shoes are impeccable and a joy to wear! Absolutely no restriction.
But what made the purchase even more sensational was the process of ordering: instead of the all too heavily used "new" payment methods like paypal (not everybody has an account there or wants to establish one), l"lartigiano del cuio" offered the most widely used banks for each EU country for payment - something, I have never found in another online retailer.
On top of this, dispach and arrival from Italy occured in less one week after ordering.
This is my second purchase with l'artigiano - it will not be my last, especially since German producers seem to be unwilling to produce stylish sandals !
