Unsere Sandalen sind nicht nur geklebt, sondern zusätzlich auch genäht. Das ist ein Qualitätsmerkmal, da viele Sandalen im Handel ausschließlich geklebt sind. Die Naht verstärkt die Struktur der Sandale zusätzlich.
Bei einer Ledersohle ist jedoch ein natürlicher Verschleiß normal, besonders wenn die Sandalen ohne zusätzliche Gummischutzsohle getragen werden. Durch den Kontakt mit dem Boden kann sich nicht nur das Leder abnutzen, sondern auch der Faden im unteren Bereich der Sohle kann mit der Zeit reißen.
Das bedeutet aber nicht automatisch, dass die Sandale ihre Stabilität verliert: Die Lederschichten sind weiterhin verklebt, wie bei den meisten Schuhen, und die obere Seite der Naht bleibt ein zusätzlicher Verstärkungsfaktor.
Für eine längere Lebensdauer empfehlen wir, bei intensiver Nutzung eine dünne Gummischutzsohle anbringen zu lassen.
