Dark brown greased vachetta leather thong sandals with leather sole handmade in Italy without the use of foreign labor or child, but by experts in the best tradition of craftsmanship.
The sole is hand stitched on the insole providing a superior finish and durability than the industrial system which is simply pasted. For staining the sandals are manually dipped in a VEGETABLE colour, manual finishing by the usage of small brushes and as final step, drying at the open air. This process takes as a result called TUFFATO, which many companies do not spend more because it requires a work of extreme precision that slows down production time.

Excellent Craftsmanship
These sandals ooze quality, the leather becomes extremely soft after a few wears, or use some gun oil or other quality leather balm to soften it immediately. Nice wide toe "box", good for wider feet. This must be my 5th pair from this company, great service.

I love these sandals! I got the leather soles
I love these sandals! I got the leather soles. All of the leather is a bit stiff when you first get them, but I could tell it was quality leather, and quality workmanship. Also, the leather has easily gotten more supple. I specifically chose this maker because of the style, but also because they are tradespeople who make, as they say, "in Italy without the use of foreign or child labor." Sold.

Strong chemical smell
They are a pretty looking shoe but when I opened the box, a strong chemical smell filled the room. I haven’t worn them yet and the smell hasn’t dissipated.

The sandals are dyed with a natural color based on alcohol which is a natural product, and since the sandals have just been made and closed in a box it has yet to completely evaporate. The smell disappears after a few days if the sandals are left in the open air. Animals may want to lick them. We guarantee that absolutely nothing chemical is used.

These shoes are really lovely and beautiful and the service was absolutely friendly and helpful. After order it took just a few days for the shoes to arrive in Germany. Unfortunately i chose the wrong size so i needed to send them back to Italy for almost 18 Euro. Paypal payed the return postage (read about conditions first!) so it wasnt that bad but if youre not sure about your size you might loose a few euros for postage. Anyway really nice!
